Two Years In Business at The Hog’s Trough

After the kickoff by Southern Rail, live music continued into the evening with a performance by Bad Decision starting at 7 p.m., and members of The Lost Boys taking the outdoor stage at 9 p.m.

Manager Keshia Welch said her parents, Bryan and Tabitha Welch, opened The Hog’s Trough two years ago and continue to enjoy a dedicated customer base, drawn by the restaurant’s variety of smoked meats and specialty entrees, including 16 ounce steaks on Friday and Saturday.

The Hog’s Trough, which also offers catering services, employs 15 to 20 people, Welch said.
