Marsha Hall, Grayson Police Department: Auction Ends Friday

Marsha Hall, Grayson Police Dept. Officer, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. Local doctors have given her a grim diagnosis and she is awaiting an appointment in Houston for a second opinion.

Marsha is only 42 years old and a mother of 2 daughters and a young grandchild who is in her care. Marsha was formerly School Resource Officer at ECHS and a Ranger at Carter Caves State Park.

I am a lifelong friend of Marsha and a member of the group Women Behind the Badge. We are working on a dessert auction fundraiser and so far have had over 100 desserts donated in less than a week. The auction will end Friday.

All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Marsha to help with travel expenses for her upcoming appointments. There is also a donate button on our Facebook page which will also go directly to the Hall family.

The effort has received many generous donations, including one from Jason Smith TV/Celeb Chef. For more information, visit the Women Behind The Badge Facebook page.
